A chance call at St Aidans one evening last week to see the Black-necked grebes and they didn't dissapoint.

Weather was dull and over-cast, a return trip in some good light is on the cards.......if we ever get anymore up here!

D500, 500pf, 1/1250th, f5.6, ISO 2000

Lovely Phil, its a great place when they come within shooting distance, you've done them proud. The plumage really comes to life in good light, well worth another visit if that big yellow thing in the sky ever reappears!
