Bit of a lens test really with the new gear but stuck it into Silver FX Pro and quite like the effect.

Not too much at all except for the halo round the trees (a weakness with SEfex).

I really love the shape that your composition gives the whole scene. I would love to see it with the colours as the trees don't quite look right and I can't put my finger on why.

I love that. The trees definitely have a much better presence.
When you processed the monochrome, did you go with luminosity or desaturation?

Neither, bunged it into Silver FX Pro and chose a hard contrasty filter.

It's definitely the shape in the scene that I love.

A blast from the past, I remember abseiling down there with the Scouts in the 80s! I think the B&W is a little harsh - lovely light on the colour version.
