The blue paradise flycatcher (Terpsiphone cyanescens) is a species of bird in the Monarchidae family. It is endemic to the Philippines.

It is mainly found in the understory of lowland primary and secondary forests, however populations are likely to be declining owing to habitat loss.

I love this, although a bit on the dark side which I suspect from your description is the density of the vegetation that this bird lives in.

Exquisit,lighting is spot on making it look as natural as possible.
 
Thank you boogie. I should actually brighten it a bit. I hard the photo printed as you see it and I feel it is 1/3rd stop too dark.
