Well its clear you have taken the time to set the shot up, as for my thoughts it has no appeal to me, Many will love it! I have spent many hours by the sea and I have never come across this before? Blue sunset given the sun position above the horizon these colours would never happen, sorry Gary back to the drawing board for me, thanks for sharing

LOL, thsnks guys, seriously.

I had a little time on my hands and as ive never done this sort of thing i thought i'd waste a bit of time.
 
here's one that I found interesting

different light colours/waves around the sun ....... will try again next time ... but shooting the sun is difficult

The best time to include the sun is after long dry periods where the atmosphere lets you look straight at the sun and it does not just blow out these situations are rare where I live. Those conditions must have been close.
