    Is that due to the background ?

    Yes and No. It was caught in a spiders web. I watched it fly in. I stole the spiders meal and put it on a nearby stem. It had some web still on it on that shot. It & I then cleaned it up of the webbing.

    That's very kind of you to say - but not true there are better.

    Yes, the brightness and colour of BG are not as
    pleasing… very subjective appreciation!

    Super set Chris. The last one stands out for me. I love the colours and composition - I think the OOF "tail" and wing work wonderfully.
