Eurasian Blue Tit (Cyanistes caeruleus)

SW France - back garden Spring 2016

Obviously the Catkins are a matter of taste

I feel that the image lacks "presence" - maybe soft head/eye area, lens could be slightly front focusing, but I think that I was too concerned with the highlights and lost something in processing?
but it's an 11% Crop, so not bad for the D750
600mm f4
1/1000th - f6.3 - ISO 500

Hi Bill,

I wonder sometimes if you're looking a bit too much into the image?

That is sharp as a pin around the eye. Any sharper and it'd be absolutely perfectly sharp. This to me is really sharp.

Nice image, though I don't favour the crop, I feel that the bird seems boxed in, if that makes sense (y)
