weekly BobBCN I will be back soon for next year's 52 ......

Those are definitely some broken trees! Well timed - and I like the compositions, which could very easily have become far too busy, but haven't.

Nice shots for broken, well captured :)

Wild - Lovely composition great focus on the Rufus's eye.

Broken - Both work for me but I prefer the first one as it shows more of the broken trees etc.
That is some amount of driftwood. It's the first shot for me, it seems to go on forever.

Thank you all!!

WEEK 8 - ABILITY

Demonstrating extraordinary ability to to just sit there without flinching. Equable only to my ability at squeezing the foot into the proverbial shoe.
Not surprised he looks glum! Well, it's a tobacconist's so I imagine the smell is not to his liking, either.

Ability is one of those themes where pretty much every post has the touch of the many horned shoe in it.
Nice shot of an interesting subject, :)
Nice gorilla shoe horn.
I bet if he moved you would of been taking a photo [emoji3]
And I thought mine was a shoe horn... excellent!

Falling behind but WEEK 9 - WINTER

Not much snow or bad weather around these parts these days.

But it is the 'calçot' time of year. Or Catalan Onions to be precise. Just onions but people go quite crazy over here organizing 'calçotadas' (Catalan Onion Fest?).
Well, there you go!

WEEK.9 by Bob Newsome Photography, on Flickr

Interesting subject for winter Bob, Well executed.

WEEK 10 - BOOK THINGY

Not too difficult to guess this one. Yes, of course!! Shakespeare's Sonnet 130

I have seen roses damask'd, red and white,
But no such roses see I in her cheeks;
And in some perfumes is there more delight
Than in the breath that from my mistress reeks.

WEEK.10 by Bob Newsome Photography, on Flickr

I take it that is a bottle of perfume then? I had no idea about the book.
Nice reflection of the bottle in the liquid

Pete

wk9 Just as well you had the explanation. I can see it now, but would not have had the foggiest other wise.

Pete

This was the original idea I had. Again an obvious one!

WEEK.10b by Bob Newsome Photography, on Flickr

Neither are obvious to me, and I thought a sonnet was a 14 line poem rather than a book.... but then you could have a book of sonnets.... so it counts :)

Piled up toy cars? Traffic pile up? Stacked cars? I need a clue. Both good pics though and I particularly like the perfume with the reflections and narrow depth of field. .

Actually, it was Perfume. The sonnet was a joke! And the second.... The Collector by John Fowles, I think!

2 excellent images Bob. Loving the reflections but the Winter shot is the technically more difficult, ensuring that the flames are not blown whilst exposing the rest correctly :)

Cheers. Yes, technically more difficult so I guess I got lucky!!

I like you first book shot, great DoF and refections.

Very nice Bob, and I think that fits the technique also (y)

Yep, i'd say that's High Key, and a really nice image.
