    This was taking at The Yorkshire Air Museum at the weekend with the help of re-enactors as part of the museum "Against The Odds" event.

    That's a nice image transferred into B&W really well.
    Just a shame the 6th crew member wasn't facing the camera too, as there is good contact with the others.
    I bet this would be good with a little selective toning as well.

    Just an obervation, but they're all a bit long in the tooth for WW2 bomber crew members. The average age was about 21, with plenty of 19 year olds. Some of this lot are in their 50s!

    Nicely rendered, literal, B&W conversion.

    Must admit that although I think it's a nice photo my first thought was "age" of the crew.

    Funnily enough, it was my first thought as well. The 2 with sergeant stripes look like they'd have been considered as oldies even in the Home Guard ;)
