Well, apart from the spider (although not necessarily that one), that's three of those four that I've never photographed, or even seen as far as I know. A very interesting set David.

I have seen the newt when I was a kid. I have seen spider if not that spcies similiar. I have seen a large number of glow worms (in Canada) at night but close up. I am not aware of seeing a beatle larvae like that.

Thank you both. Surprisingly Great Crested Newts are very common at Bookham Common apparently the LNHS survery almost always finds them there. I rarely go there because of family commitments.
