Just picked up A Nikon D700 and went out to get to grips with it in my local town of Wigan. The town has just erected a statue to the first black rugby player Billy Boston to play for the town who went on to be a bit of a legend in the sport. I had thrown an old Nikon 50mm f1.8 E type (pancake) lens on the camera as it's a great manual lens to work with despite it's age. Here's a few test shots playing with bokeh and the dynamic range of the camera. Excuse the editing, I was trying a few things.
