One of my encounters in Glen Coe. Here is the progression of morning light.

All nice but watch your shadow. You can see this in the last shot. A crop to say 2:1 or even wider - job done.

I like this sort of shoot - keep the same position and shoot a series as the light changes. A really enjoyable thread of the same morning I had.

Nice simple composition that just depicts the area as it is. Brilliant processing too.

I do see what you are saying. Interestingly enough, the only shadow that is mine in here is the tripod which I could work on. I was out of the picture and sun areas with a remote shutter. The unevenness of the land has given off some of that shadow unfortunately.
