Bumblebee, Drone Fly and a nearly shot

Had a little play in the back garden on Sunday since the sun finally made an appearance.

Now the only macro lens I have is a 50mm one, it felt more than a little short to capture the flying critters in the garden so I got out my 300mm + 1.4 TC and sat back to catch some shots from a distance.

Got a couple of nice captures and a nearly great one but only got the legs of the flying bee in focus! Next time eh?

Impressive stuff there Lee, last one is almost there but I do like the blur and light on the left wing.

I like the 3rd one as you have captured the Bee motion against the green background, but could have been a bit more sharper.
