Swallowtail, normally found around the Fens/East of England, there is also a European version, which lives in mountainous regions.

The europens version then, equally as lovely but no way near as endangered. For some reason the UK one has evolved to feed off only a certain type of flower, a type of flower that is contained to the Fens, and is rather endangered itself so the outlook doesn’t look great.

Lovely image. It's very like one I took a couple of years ago in the Algarve, where they are also quite common. Mine was a very obliging model and kept posing itself. There is also the scarce swallowtail, which isn't really that scarce, which shares the same habitat (in the Algarve, not in the UK).
