Nice shot Nick, with great composition and a nice clean BG. Shame the focus isn't on the nearest eye though but still a very nice shot.

Nice stack - good to get all the wing in focus . The eye is slightly soft on here - maybe you have a bit more of it in one of the stacks that could merge - or alternatively it may just be web compression giving that impression.

Nice shot Nick, it's a pity about the eye but if you have another shot of it in focus I would use layer masks to merge it over the top of this one.

Not been on here very long have you! The Macro section is the "Nice" section with polite crit, visit the Bird section if you want to see harsh criticism!

Yes - agree with Neil. Either use the layer in the stack or easier add another layer as hidden on top - then paint in the eye.
