Buying phone from amazon marketplace

Hi Im after a new phone and came across top listing on amazon for note 8 which is about 520 which is nearly 200 quid cheaper than any shop. I used to grey market in photography but can you rely on buying aomething like this on amazon? The seller has good positive feedback and states that he is uk. How much can you trust things like that?

Just to clarify they dont state that its grey its my assumption considering the price...
 
I'm pretty sure Amazon don't give you the same protection that they do for their own stuff. I suppose if you check the sellers profile, see how long they've been a marketplace seller and you're otherwise happy then go for it.
If it's grey it's likely the firmware will not be the same as UK (different updates etc.) and you might have to delete/change a lot of stuff but again if you're happy with that then...
 
Is it sold by amazon or fulfilled by amazon ?
 
Tons of scams on amazon marketplace. Genuine sellers accounts get hijacked and listings for cheap electricals get uploaded.

I’d be very wary.
