I've just had a play with one this week, I was considering it as an upgrade from the 20D

What type of shooting are you planning on doing with it?
If any of it involves fast action, i'd opt for the 1d N instead as the write times are much quicker.

Actually I'm not after one, what I am after is the 24-105 F4L that comes in the kit.
So I was wondering if anyone was buying a body only, if they would upgrade to the kit if I paid the difference, as these 24-105's are as rare as hens teeth at the moment

Got mine from Callumet about 5 weeks ago and they weren't ripping you off either £694 + £9 delivery, got it next day. Give them a ring, I live in Nott'm, they didn't have one, but got it sent from the Manchester branch. Very good service!!
