Anyone teamed their flash up with one of these? It's something I've been thinking about for a while but unsure whether it really performs as well as claimed.

Not yet, I found after a full day using my 580EX in full auto mode it did seem to be taking longer and longer between cycles... Its on my list of things to get and I will keep an eye on this thread for your finding if you do get one or other replies from other owners.

It's certainly something I'm thinking about - keen to get feedback from someone who's actually used one before I part with my £90 though! The problem I face is mainly at speedway - you have roughly two - three seconds as the riders come round the bend in front of you in which to nail your shots. Once the light falls, it reduces your possibilities rather if thanks to the flash not firing you effectively only get ONE shot at it rather than the more usual burst of three!
