Has anyone used this and if so what settings would you recommend? Also what lens have you used?
 
I guess depends what kind of genre you are shooting.
  1. For people photography I use mostly eye focus with tracking which is fantastic IMHO. Tracking sensitivity set to highest, Accelaration/Decelaration tracking set to 0, Af pt auto switching 0, Orientation linked AF point set to 1 so that the camera remembers the AF point when I switch between portrait and landscape orientration.
  2. For Landscape and others I use Spot AF.
