Capture 1 vs Lightroom for Fuji

I’m mostly Canon and LR. I branched out into Fuji last year and looked at C1 and it does produce better final prints I think. So now I have two workflows events/sports (who knows maybe again one day!) with high volume with canon / LR mainly for online use, and studio and landscape with Fuji / C1 mainly for print.

Thanks! Looks like I need to check out DXO Photo Lab!
Bearing in mind the OP was discussing processing software in conjunction with Fuji raw files it’s probably worth pointing out that DXO photolab cannot process files produced by cameras using the X-Trans sensor :)

Yes, it comes out from this very well.

I'm not a fan, but it is still very popular. And while a useful comparison, I should have emphasised that it doesn't work with Xtrans sensors, it works with Bayer sensor Fujis such as the GFX50s, but not the XTrans ones.

I’m going to give C1 a go with my XT3 for a while, including cataloguing, and see how I get on. :)

I don't think this covers the catalogue (but recent Capture One youtube videos do) but in addition to the Capture One tutorials, these are very good a getting a feel for how editing works in Capture One.

.

and if you aren't familiar with the C1 youtube channel, there is a lot of good stuff there.
