Capture a stranger street style : Part 2

Excellent stuff guys, liking this thread. :D

.... so I was in Jessops London Oxford Street today, just passing thru, and noticed the Panasonic 100-300mm was going for £414.00 so tried it on my GX80, aimed out the door and clicked on a bloke way across the other side of the street, said bugger it, and bought it.

... not great *street*, but thought I'd post my first with a new lens.

Just a simple candid street style Snapograph taken at London UK of a young lad with his Cello doing a bit of street playing. I just love the look of concentration on this lads face.

I'm going to start investing in my street photography more, I enjoy it - however I've not been doing any because it typically involves a £20 fare to London - and well that should not be the reason to sit at home and waste my time away.

Going to need to get a bit more clever and creative with my images, so just going to break the ice by posting a few a trip recently.

Cheers George :) I look forward to having something worthwhile to post.. or something else in the interim :)

Really pleased to hear it, Dan Isn't there some off-peak ticket that you can get with 30% off?

Thanks, this is all I know...

Looking at the national rail website, Aldershot to Waterloo.

Weekends
< 8am = £19.30
8am > 10:30 = £24.50
10:30 > = £19.30

Weekdays
< 9am = £31.30
9am > 10:30 = £24.50
10:30 > = £19.30

In reality the first train at £19.30 on any day worth taking (0 change and no bus service) is at 11:35ish, unless it's before 8 on the weekend (ok ok I suppose I could get this one..)

Still nearly £20. This is the railcard I was talking about. Costs £30 per year, 1/3 off all tickets, can only be used after 10am weekdays. Anyway, probably best to get back on-topic.

Sorry if anyone's seen these before, just getting in the mood - I've cleared my Instagram ready for new street stuff

Yours photos (not just here) have a very cinematic look to them, especially the second photo here.

Thank you, i went all in with that one - film-style colour grading and black bars :)

It definitely shows. Film style colour grading is something I keep meaning to get into but finding the time at the moment is challenging.

What camera and lenses do you use? I was assuming Sony A7x but would be interesting to know.

All of the above were taken with a Leica Q which has a full-frame sensor and an in-built 28mm f/1.7 af lens.
