Castle Howard

Had a run down to Castle Howard last Thursday before the storms arrived. Hadn't been down for years, and it was great to be able to wander about with the place pretty much to myself.

#1 Atlas Fountain. Shame is wasn't running and what little water there was present was frozen solid. Composed like this to hide a section of scaffolding on the house.

Nice series which you’ve captured very well, I’ve not been to Castle Howard for a number of years. I may have to revisit before it gets too busy.
