RIP my little friend Pixie. She passed away thursday. It's amazing how much you get attached to these little guys/girls. I feel like i've lost a limb....

Don't think my son is a member of this cat appreciation society, seen him chasing our one across the garden earlier with his foam sword. :nono:

Anyway, here's ours doing what she does best.

One of my two moggies, Tiger in his favourite position, asleep in my seat when I got off to do something, lol.
First time using flash off camera to my left mounted high and angled towards him, plus my 50mm 1.8.

Aw lots of kitties!

My two;

Byron my youngest a rescue cat found as a feral kitten in a litter under a shed, when discovered his mum moved the whole litter to under a hedge next to a busy main road. He's a absolute fruit loop & has the largest whiskers I've ever seen on a cat! :LOL:

My second cat Mo is 15 years old & diabetic so he needs a shot of insulin every 12 hours, bless him. He was also a rescue kitten the litter was found in a skip in a bin liner.

I don't know how I've missed it before but I've just found this thread and enjoyed looking back through all the really good photos of lovely cats.

This is our gorgeous Bramble, who died last year just before her 19th birthday:

Last month we adopted two adult males who needed a new home and once they're a bit more settled I hope I can get some photos. Any tips for photographing black cats?

Black cats - incident light reading or failing that manual with a grey card to meter off

Thanks, I'll try that. They're very handsome boys but their fur is as black as coal so the quick indoor shots we've taken so far with the compact are usually over-exposed by the flash. :bonk:

Our neighbors cat, and it is a bell on the collar around its neck.

My apologies for not introducing myself first. I found a thread on cats and just had to contribute!

Neighbour's Big Cat, he (presumably) is very fearless, nearly ran over once when he refused to move from the back of my car on a rainy morning.
That was lucky. I am not particularly a cat lover, neither is my missus, but he is quite likeable with his attitude alone.
