CAT dredger

Something a little different from me and the result of a badly planned sunset.
On my way home I saw this boat with the CAT digger which looked like a good subject matter.
Rather than just shoot a normal exposure I added a bit of off camera flash trying to mix it with the ambient to give some attention to the digger over the boat.
Now in an ideal world I wouldn't have cut the front of the boat of but I was restricted at 18mm.

Feel free to comment good or bad and thank you for looking!

I used to know a bloke who built a couple of dredger hulls onto which he drove bucket diggers for dredging. He seems to have done very well out of it. He let me drive one of the diggers and great fun it was too.

It's slightly unbalanced, but I like it.

I agree.
I mentioned in another thread that I should have probably blended a couple of exposures - one with the CAT lit and one with some flash on the cabin of the boat.

Noted for next time.
