Caucasus mountains sunrise

After an early rise to shoot the milky way (https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/threads/first-2019-milky-way.692464/) and some tea, we went out to shoot sunrise. This is very much a big vista location, I need to explore some more view points looking across the village to the mountains next time I return.

Taken in and around Qiriz village in the Caucasus mountains in Northern Azerbaijan.

A little later in the morning we trekked out to explore the nearby frozen waterfall. A helpfull shepherd and a frozen grotto.

They are all cracking images but number three does it for me, there is just so much to look at it keeps my eye busy the whole time it's on screen.
