Living in northern England any glimpse of blue sky is a cause for celebration and maybe even a street party. I think the last glimpse of blue sky here was a Tuesday in August 1976.

Down here in the south west we have so much blue sky there's a law against pictures without towering clouds...

I would post a picture I've taken today but as it's only 10:40 conditions are still difficult here and as my camera only goes to ISO 25,600 even with an f1.2 lens I'm going to have to boost the exposure 8 or 9 stops.

What a lovely place. Re the image - I'd have framed tighter to hide the boat bits and wires which detract for the image.

Beautiful conditions for photography - makes a change from the drab conditions here in Blighty.
