I'm still playing around with getting the on-camera flash a little bit less harsh, but I've finally got the hang of the Raynox 250. There are usually plenty of these little bleeders hanging around to practice on at this time of year. I'll try and find one that doesn't play up and move it's back legs around next time:

Nice shot but the light is bit uneven.

Yep, the lighting isn't very good. I was trying to use a torch for some extra light so i could see what I was doing (it was taken in a dim corner). I was originally going to post this and didn't for some reason - it demonstrates the lighting problem I want to solve better(harsh shadows).
