I think i can get away with this in the sport section as i suppose i'm interested in burst rates at sporting events?
I can't vouch for Nikon (are they any different) but my Canon 5D3 and 1D4 and putting in non fake Sandisk or Lexar CF or SD pretty high in transfer rates, i believe my camera will drop its speed down to the slower memory card, which i believe is the SD card. I do normally record RAW to one card JPEG to the other (work from one back up on the other) but do you Pro photographers take action shots actually using both cards. Would it mate a little more sense (although taking a sliiight risk) To just use one card in the camera being the Compact Flash and faster card?
Regardless of the RAW vs JPEG debate which is best .... a single and faster card can deal with more pictures without the slower card hindrance, no?
