Just got back from spending 2 nights in Tenerife and then 4 on La palma trying my hand for the 1st proper time at Astro Photography. Stumbled across this location purely by chance and may work out to be one of my favourites.

That`s a good shot but it`s blurry at the bottom of the shot which is strange as the church is sharp enough.
Great location find and all the better as the MW is in full bloom at the moment.
What was your set-up if you don`t mind sharing and exif details.

Nice that chap, where did the lighting on the building come from? I like the lighting btw and the processing is spot on, I would crop off the bottom though as there's not quite enough light on the path to warrant it.

I agree with Neil.
With the path acting as a lead-in and the church providing interest, I don't think it needs as much foreground.

Otherwise, it's an excellent image.

Ambient light from another people just off to the left.
