Good morning all.
*First of all, apologies if this is the wrong section*
I tried my first "proper" bit of time lapse last night, and looking for some feedback.
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=py-3yJh-H4U&feature=youtu.be
Forgive the nudge halfway through. I made a change to the aperture. I later made another change to exposure, which I managed not to move the camera, nor does it look like it was required (apart from giving longer headlight trails).
Settings used:
Exposure: 2 seconds
F-Stop: 5.6
ISO: 200 (I'm sure I set it to 800, but the file metadata say 200, so I must have not clicked ok)
Interval: 5 seconds
Where the nudge is, halfway through the video, I changed the F Stop to 5.0. The reason for a couple of nudges at the same point is that I initially went the wrong way and changed to 6.3
Towards the end, I changed the exposure to 2.5 seconds, but looking at the editing, I don't think this was really required. If anything, it has given slightly longer light trails.
-----------------------------------------------
Please, don't hold back on the critique.
One big question I have is - why do the streetlights appear to be pulsing?
Also, does it look too fast?
Thanks in advance,
Mat
