Caught a snap or two of this adorable fugly thing on the river , 2 weeks old I think they said it was, and a Tern maybe ?

Makes me think of a juvenile Moorhen, beyond fledgling stage but not yet fully(?) juvenile

Edit - possibly a Coot chick/juvenile.....examples found point to Coot rather than my initial thought of Moorhen.
