out with Steve Dawes today beach hopping for snow buntings .then we went up on the cliffs and Steve spotted a small flock of choughs only the second time either of us have seen them , well chuffed with the results

I saw them a few years ago in the Isle of Man, but we never got near enough for decent photosl

Lovely shot of a lovely bird, I've seen them at South Stack and at Porthdafarch. Has it lost it's right claw? Or is it hidden behind the tuft of grass.

If you’re so inclined ,Jeff..maybe let theses people know. I’m sure they’d be delighted to see this photo. I’ve only seen one and that was at Lizard,Cornwall. The cliff face nest was guarded by volunteers who sat on the public footpath above it.
