Church Interiors - an open thread.

Hi justpix

If you're in Lisbon at the moment, I'd be interested to see what you make of this place:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Igreja_de_São_Domingos_(Lisbon)

I've visited many times but not managed any atmospheric photos. It was only a few months ago I really got interested in shooting church interiors ...

HERE is a google streetview image. It's just off Praca do Rossio. And buy yourself a Ginjinha at that place in the centre of the image.

Hi, I was in Lisbon 2018 in early May. I found Lisbon beautiful (again) but very overcrowded. It is simply a very popular destination.

I managed to visit a few churches. Again, too many people ... I 'll show the few pictures I could take. But it was not much fun.

One should go there early in the year, or in winter ... ---

The Igreja de S. Domingos I did not visit. Perhaps, a reason to go to Lisbon again ---;)

Hi, size mattered in the Middle Ages, too. It shows, who is really important (Mainzer Dom):
