Beginner Clacton Pier

Interested to hear people's thoughts on a couple of shots I took on Clacton pier last week. They aren't especially complex shots, but it was quiet and fairly dark on the pier, and I'm trying to develop my skills using a flash. I love the way the flash reflects off the horses nose.

They're fun! There seems to be a bit of camera shake on the mouse? & the field of focus/ DoF on the horse is off? The eyes should be in focus even on a fibreglass horse

I was on a very wide aperture as it was very dark in there, I guess I could have bumped the ISO up..
