Nice panning shot and good B&W conversion, but the severe angle spoils it for me - I think it would look much better cropped to horizontal.
 
Good choice of shutter speed, coupled to panning technique emphasise the movement.
Nice conversion too, with rich tones.
For me, the angle works well as it adds dynamism
 
Have to agree, never really like photos that are angled unnecessarily

Mid 50's Indy car powered by a 4 cylinder Offenhauser motor. These were the standard until jack Brabham brought the tiny rear engined Cooper over to the States and changed things forever.
