weekly Cobra's 2020 cataclysmic catastrophes Week 52 decorate and done!

Full gob shot
I just went back and double checked @Baloo
1/1000th 300mm f/5.6 iso 3200

Two great shots. Can't believe the clarity given you were shooting at a high iso. Impressed!

Thanks Helen,
That camera impresses me sometimes too (y)
No noise reduction photo chopping either.

The wolverine, well equipped for the British winter, living as they do, wild in the arctic circle, and other similarity cold places.
They secrete oil onto their fur which stops it from freezing in sub-zero temperatures.

This is one that was really after, (Archive) no such luck though.

I think you are some kind of Wolverine whisperer. The either hide under a bush or run past like a lightening bolt when I get my camera out! Lovely first shot - shame about the lack of snow obv but such is life.

Nice image of a "winter" coat there, and those eyes look rather menacing in the first image to say the least.

Great Wolverine shots. I wouldn't want to mess with one of those!

Thanks Rick.
They are certainly veracious predators !

Ability great gob shot and shoehorn there Mr Cobra lovely detail.

Winter 2 more cracking shot Chris I love to focus of No 1 very captivating

Hi Chris

Some nice tigers you have there, being able to get close is handy. Love the details you have captured.

The wolverine is a beast as well, not something you want to meet on a dark night.

They are rather cute aren't they Mark?

Great shots Chris, and oh so cute but wont want to get too close.
As above Dave. Cute but will rip your arm off for a meal.

#2 is a lovely shot. Looks so innocent... :)
That's his bewildered look I called him over and he thought I was going to feed him :D

Good shot, is it a selfie?
That's the O/H before she does her hair and has a shave in the morning.

Very well shoe horned, another beautiful animal portrait.
I'm starting to get my shoe horn MoJo back Clive (y)

100-400 is the my weapon of choice, Pete.
As for the Wolverine its a diurnal hunter, but I wouldn't my back on a truly wild one!

Thanks for all the kind comments Guys & Gals they are all appreciated.

He looks a little bit grumpy in that first shot. Shoehorn or lateral thinking?

Broken - good fun shot.
Ability - both good gob shots great detail.
Winter - Again great detail, seems to be looking straight at you

Great portrait of a skunk bear, but what is he worried about?

Very much so Dave, on both counts!
I think we've seen Hugh there before haven't we?
Nicely caught. Sharp and well lit and more education for us :)
There are 4 Hugh's Mum dad & 2 kits, the kits are almost as big as the parents now.
Happy to educate, Tim :D
Great portrait of a skunk bear, but what is he worried about?
He's frowning as I promised a few day old chicks if he posed, but I never threw them in the end :D

Thanks for dropping by guys (y)

Hi Chris,

Loving your shots! Brilliantly creative for the likes of Broken and Wild and epically sharp gob / animal shots.

You are also The Great Shoehorn Master and I am very glad that yo are doing the 52 this year (y)

Thanks Lee, I very much appreciate your kind comments (y)

I've only ever completed 1, a couple of epic fails the following 2 years, I never made it into double figures.
But I'm determined to go the distance this year

Week 10. "Book"
As I hardly ever read, and I couldn't find a triffid for love nor money, I was kinda stuck this week.
Not my finest hour, BUT my minion often helps around the garden, yesterday was working on the Bonsai trees.
Some needed new substrate some just needed a prune.
This Ash forest needed new substrate, so Harry became my faithful Potter
