Cocker Spaniel

I like the colours, but I find the pup too central in the frame, and a little overwhelmed by the back/foreground.
A closer crop would work better for me.
 
I see and like the thinking about the colours, central composition might work but what it really needs is eye contact or being able to see what is grabbing the dogs attention.
 
As above, love the colours, but perhaps you need to get down to the floor a lot more...
