Colour for me Simon. I think you miss out on too much with the mono albeit it a good conversion.
Particularly the wet shingle in the foreground and the colourful rust streaks down the pier pillars, which I feel is a nice element to the shot.

B&W for me by a long shot.
There's a purple cast affecting the colour balance across the whole picture which makes the black and white an easy choice for me.
