Colours and trees at The Hermitage

Had a walk around The Hermitage near Dunkeld last week to see the autumn colours, was a fabulous place but tricky to get what I wanted.

i like no 2 but the format is difficult to read...could it be cropped to square and get the mossy effect

Very nice Paul. Some wonderful colours an a nice hint of that wonderful atmosphere that those murky woodland shots can yield

I was there last weekend and also found it somewhat difficult to get it captured in camera.
So many togs out with their gear around Ossians hall.

I ended up with something very different.

(hope I'm not hijacking the thread)

Cheers Geof, I'll have another look at it. I just couldn't get it right in camera because the top left was quite bright.

Great place to go. Well worth the £2 car parking. Even more of a bargain as the machine wasnt working when I went.....

Yes, it was busy the day I went but sadly I didn't know how to get to the other side where someone else must have got some great shots amongst the waterfall and the rocks as foreground.

Below the hall? There is a split in the walkway and a bridge that ends. At the start of the bridge you can walk a lot closer to the falls.
