I'm continuing to dip into my processing backlog pretty much at random. I used my FZ200 most of the time last year for invertebrates, but these were captured on a sunny day when I was in the garden photographing flowers with my 70D and 55-250 STM and happened upon these two subjects along the way.

These are all natural light, hand-held raw captures. I might have used the Canon 500D close-up lens for one or more of the first four, or used just the bare 55-250. I probably used the 500D for the second four, although I might have used the Raynox 150.

Post processing was in DXO Optics Pro 10 and Lightroom 6.

Because of a bug in Lightroom (which I have now found out how to work around) the Exif data is missing from these JPEGs, so I've listed the exposure data for each image.

These are very nice images Nick, as usual spot on exposure & composition with excellent colour. #5 & #6 are lost a little bit in the background by blending in with the foliage etc, but obviously there's nothing you could of done about that. Thanks for showing them.(y)

George.

Thanks George.

For better or worse, I think I have a bit of a weakness for "busy background" shots. :) (I seem to remember having several conversations with Bryn @Tintin124 about that.)
