They are feisty little devils aren't they, love the way they terrorise anything that get close to the nest site,
well except the comorant, that really doesn't seem to care :)
Not sure why they are picking on their own kind, I have a feeling these might be last years chicks
trying to muscle in as there are already 2 pairs on the raft with nests
 
Cracking set, pin sharp where it matters, I'm rather partial to a bit of motion blur in the wings (y)
 
Sorry to dig up an old post.

Just wanted to thank those that commented on their favourite as I entered into a competition to have it display in a collage at Bird Fair this year and it got chosen.

No prize, just the satisfaction of having it on show.
