Had a couple of weeks in Dorset recently and tried to visit some of the well known locations.

My first ever visit and I loved it - the coast is stunning.

One of the shots I wanted to try and get was Corfe Castle in some mist - it took a few attempts with no mist then mist everywhere apart from around the castle. Eventually I got lucky and dropped on a perfect morning.

I went up and down West hill a few times and I think I missed a better shot from the top of the hill, but I got all giddy and ran around like a headless chicken :)

I love Dorset, I know this part of the world so well.
What a great photograph! Not your usual Corfe Castle in the mist shot. You should be proud of this one.

Thanks Marc - I was really torn between the top of the hill for the usual shot or further down the path.

I arrived very early and must have walked up and down the path 4 times - at least the exercise did me good :)
 
I actually exclaimed "oh" out loud when I opened this. It's beautiful.
