Couple of flowers from the garden

Been gardening all week, getting the garden ready for summer & decided to bring a couple of flowers inside to shoot yesterday.

Well crafted Sarah ...... it's easy to find beautiful subjects in nature ...... you just have to look

I used a Canon 100mm f2.8 macro.

Did you just put an acrylic sheet behind them? Did you use any artificial light?

Hi Just in a light tent in my conservatory with a piece of black card behind, so natural light & then just a case of adjusting the exposure to get the background an even black.

Thank you, I sometimes like a bit of lower contrast softer images, but these I wanted as really sharp detail images.

Very pretty indeed.
The first has to be my favourite just because of the sheer simplicity of the shot, and the subtle details in thos white petals.

Thank you. That is my favourite as well. I've got some white daffodils up in the garden as well, so might try a shot of those.
