For these first two, in post 45, having the Sun being in your
back flattens the details, a tonal tweak may resolve that.

Thank you, I have no idea how to do it :banghead: I will try to edit these pictures again later as I won't be close to my pc for next week

I could propose a suggestion
but your edit says "NO"!

Go for it :agree: Hope you can edit them (y) And please can you tell me after what have you done please :)

I've changed my settings just now

I tried to to it right and subtile but it
is difficult on a low+res jpg.

This suggestion reduces (IMHO) the
flatness and, through micro contrast
tweaks via adjustment layer, reveals
better colours and even some gentle
iridescence.

No
sharpening, saturation, vibrance,
etc… used.

You could achieve better results with
the RAW file.

Thank you, as I said I will try to edit them later. May be taking down contrast in Camera RAW caused this problem? I will have a look.....

May be taking down contrast in Camera RAW caused this problem?

I don't know any more what it is to work
with these colour engines as I am, since
5 year, with C1.

I all honesty, I could only say more with
the RAW file, in C1 and the presence of
my
lawyer! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::wacky:

What do you think about this version?

Yes, you tamed the mids somewhat…
that took care of some flatness but
the punchier colours are not there yet;
the eye is not vivid. This has to do with
micro contrast and micro saturation.

Some images from yesterday. This bird is amazing, it looks like he enjoying to be a model :)
