Nicely shot from above to show off the colours and markings. I actually didn't realise how similar the curlew's markings are to the greenshank with that white patch up the middle of the back, as I normally see them on the ground and I've only ever photographed one from below.
Have to say Mark, not just a great image, but shooting with unconventional wildlife kit too. First time I've noticed anybody shooting BIF's with a Leica....
