Wow, what an unusual craft, those propellers are immense, which you caught with the right amount of blur.

Thanks the CV22 is a tilt rotor and can turn its motors to vertical and fly as a helicopter.
The props spin slower than a conventional aircraft it took 1/40 to do it!

As the rotors are so large, it has to operate as a heli on takeoff & landings...

I'm probably being picky, but I think it's the other way around, ie they wanted it to function as a helicopter on take off so it has large rotors.
