One of my favourite subjects, although I'm not sure on what species this one actually is, I know it's a damselfly, that's about it.

Taken at a local loch yesterday, a lovely place to be.

5Div, 100L f2.8 @ 7.1. 7.1 seems to be the sweetspot of this lens for these if the BG is far enough away

Very nice.

Wondering if it's a rufescens-obsoleta colour version of a blue tailed.
 
Lovely shot and no idea on ID to help you.
But if its a fresh one then the colour is yet to appear.
 
Thank you chaps. I Goggled the above, it could be. Might also be a new one too and most are blue there, so yep, could be that too.
