I would suggest to try the first but showing less of the sky and
more of the gown if you have that flexibility.

I think so, she caught your eye in the first place! So explore why.
IMO, leave as little BG as possible and as much of the subject as possible…
really concentrating the viewer's attention on the woman.

The thinking attitude, the sober clothes, the ethnic specificities all build up
to a strong image character

If the original file permits, take some off the bottom to reduce the length of the attire and increase the width to the right, e.g.

Aye the crop works. Only problem is that as mentioned, the file gets iffy at that size crop.
Quite like this but then it's an awkward shape
