A friend of mine has said they would like some dandelion clock pictures but the brief was a little vague at "I'm not sure - maybe close ups of the wishes" - so here is my first attempt and I would appreciate any critique please. All taken with my Nikon D7000 and Tamron 90mm Macro lens.

Thanks for looking :)

Well if it's wishes you're after, I'd say the last three fit the bill as it's the bits blowing off that remind me of that. The 2 landscape orientations (4&6) work best for me (the portrait one feels cramped).

Of those two, it's a really difficult decision as the darker backround works to highlight the bits (I'm sure there's a technical term for it!), but the blue sky has a more "airy" feel to it. If I had to put one on my wall, I'd probably go #4 because of the unusual POV (most dandelions are shot from above/level so have a dark grassy background). I might consider saturating the blues a tad more and do something green with the stalk which looks more yellowy because of the sun coming through it. I'd probably mess that up in PP though. So #4, but #6 is probably a "safer" bet. :)
