I nipped down to the local church the other day to try out a recent purchase (Pentax smc-K 28mm f3.5) in infrared. The lens turns out to be superb for IR; no hot-spots at any aperture, which meant I could shoot this at f8.
The sunlight was coming through a tree being blown by the wind, so I waited for the light to fall on the face and took this. A little bit messing around with hue adjustment, and then I added a layer using Topaz Glow at about 50% opacity to bring out more colour. Original image was taken at 665nm, using my IR converted Sony Nex5N.
