Interested in attempting to photograph the Perseid meteor shower this coming weekend.
I'm in west London so there's no chance of a dark sky, but I've studied those "light pollution" maps and it looks like one of the best areas of darkness in the south is Salibury Plain.
I'm willing to drive up to 100 miles or so, so can anyone suggest a suitable out of the way spot (not necessarily on Salisbury Plain) where I could set up for a time exposure to capture star movement?
